The Scottish walking for Health Research Exchange (SHaRE) has been set up in collaboration with Paths for All, University of Edinburgh, and the National Walking Strategy Delivery Forum.
SHaRE has three main aims:
- To provide a mechanism for researchers to disseminate their research findings relating to walking for health to a wider audience of practitioners and policy makers.
- To provide a mechanism for practitioners and policy makers to access relevant research findings on walking for health, in a useful and accessible format.
- To facilitate communication and exchange of ideas between researchers, practitioners and policy makers.
We aim to include research that contributes to, and supports the National Walking Strategy for Scotland Vision of:
“A Scotland where everyone walks as part of their everyday journeys, places are well designed for walking and everyone enjoys walking in the outdoors.”
