Abstract submission is now open
Two types of abstracts can be submitted: academic research or case studies of good practice. Your abstract submissions should be about Scotland, Scottish data or projects and should be related to either the Eight Investments or Covid-19.
To submit an abstract for SPARC 2021 please download the correct template document for your submission, complete it and email it to PAHRC@ed.ac.uk by the closing date, Monday 1st November 2021 5pm, we cannot accept submissions after this date. You will be notified by Wednesday 3rd November 2021 if your abstract has been chosen.
Posters will be ‘presented’ virtually on the Actify Platform, examples of last year’s posters. Due to the online setting, posters must be created with font and image sizes appropriate for viewing on a computer screen. Traditional large poster formats (e.g. A1 and A0) will not be accessible. We also require a short video/audio of author’s presenting their poster, specific guidance for this will be made available on acceptance of abstracts.
Please note that submitting an abstract does not mean you are registered for the SPARC 2021 Conference. Conference registration is a separate process that is required for all presenters, please book now to avoid disappointment.
